Brief Description

Since 2016, the Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU), in partnership with UNDP, has been implementing the Gender Equality Seal (GES) initiative to promote gender equality in private sector organizations, aligned with SDG 5. The GES certification process encouraged companies to adopt gender-friendly practices, with criteria including increased resources for gender interventions. This initiative resulted in tangible benefits, such as the creation of gender-sensitive work environments.
